More About The Author...

My life began 1948, in a sleepy little village named Daisy Hill, which is close to the West Pennine Moors in the county of Lancashire. It really was a Daisy Hill in those days, and buttercups... The village in my younger days was littered with farms and beautiful countryside, which was full of wild flowers, crystal clear streams, horses, and black and white dairy cows. My childhood was bliss, as far as freedom was concerned. Most of it was spent in the local park running around looking for adventure, with the two dogs from next door. If that wasn’t happening, then l would go down to the local riding stables to exercise the horses. l was always making up stories even at a young age, my mother thought l was crackers... maybe l was? maybe l still am? In the 70s, l had shops in Kensington, and Portobello Road, where l designed clothes. I was always interested in design and writing. Writing for me began around 1978, which was a romantic novel, very high brow, called CHELSEA HEIGHTS. The novel is full of business, glamour, escapism and rock 'n' roll. l promised myself one day l would finish it, then... grandchildren arrived so, I started writing children's books. I hope in the future my great grandchildren and other children out there, will thoroughly enjoy the books that I have written so far.
